New to The Way? welcome!
We are delighted that you decided to visit our website and learn about what God is doing at The Way.
In the Book of Acts Chapter 9, "The Way" was the name given to the early followers of Jesus who followed His teachings and accepted His way of life. As a community of followers of Jesus in the Bay Area, we are committed to living "The Way" of life that bears witness to His teachings in our worship, our work and our witness.
Thus, "The Way" names our interdenominational fellowship and reflects our aim to emphasize conversion, discipleship and transformation in all areas of our life and society.
The Way Christian Center is a group of regular people who want to honor our Lord Jesus Christ and encourage each other to grow in our walk with Him.
What are your services like?
We want the love of God to be felt through every aspect of our service. Each service includes a time of worship, prayer, giving and preaching. The sermons are built on God’s Word and delivered with love and conviction from those who proclaim at The Way.
Where should I park?
Street parking is available on University Avenue.
Where should I go when I enter the building?
The entry way to the church on Sunday mornings is on the right side of the building on University Avenue. Our greeters will welcome you and guide you to the sanctuary as well as answer any questions you may have.
Do you provide childcare?
Yes! Our YANA (Young And Not Ashamed) department is for children ages 2 to 12 and meets during the 11am service.
What should I wear?
We are more concerned about you and your presence with us than we are with what you wear. As a church, we gather to worship the Lord and want to dress in a way that honors God. Most of our members wear something in the range of business casual to casual. Be comfortable and come as you are!
